OT: Anyone in central Florida?

Hi Everyone

I'm planning a trip to Florida in March and would enjoy meeting some people to go with the faces I see on OFF.  I try to do this whenever I'm traveling.   I'll have a car and a GPS, and will drive almost anywhere.

Anyone interested in meeting for coffee or a meal?  I'd love to hear from you.

Candy, We lived in Florida for 3 years , way back in the late 70's. Fort Walton Beach- Pensacola Beach, nice places to visit. The sugar white sand is something to see. We brought a small container of the sand with us when we moved back to Calif. Enjoy your time down south. Hugs dear one, Peg

Sounds like you are going to have such a good time in Florida. What a great time of year to go and now that your foot is feeling better!!

Where in Florida exactly are you going?  Is it near Carla or Monica?  Wasn't there someone else that lived in Florida? I can't remember. 

If you are around Pompano Beach, look up Susan Maria Leach. She has a great shop and I've been there.  You can ship the good stuff home.  I had one suitcase loaded with vitamins when I left there!

I'll be traveling between Orlando and Clearwater and about 2 hours south of both.  Nowhere near Pompano Beach, sorry to say.

I'm still hoping to connect with Monica, and will be contacting Carla soon.  Not sure who else is in the area, but hope to hear from them.

 I am about 20 miles south of Clearwater. Phyllis and I would love to meet up with you . She will be ehre around the 3rd. She and John are comming here for a month. Let us know where you are going to be and we will put the GPS on my new RED HONDA FIT and come on over!!!!!. Carla. You have my cell number. or I can pm it to you. I'll be in Floriday March  starting in Avon Park near Sebring,  then to Clearwater, then back to Avon Park.   I'll have a car and a GPS and thought I'd catch you all on my way back to Avon Park from Clearwater.   At this point I don't know what my friends have planned, but will know in a couple of weeks.

I'm not sure who Phyllis is, but I'd love to meet up with you both.  I'm really hoping Monica will be able to join us as well, as she's someone I've always wanted to meet.

i am over in brevard county over by the beach, in fact the shuttle is going to launch in just a few min and i can see i from my house...i am pre op, and i have bet another gal that is also pre op here in brevard county, she has also met another gal that is also pre op..so we are growing over here in brevard county...

I'm going to be mostly in the Clearwater/Tampa area. Is that near you? I'll be down there for a week, and will try to see as many people as I can in that area. How far are you from Tampa airport?

tampa is on the west coase, i am on the east coast of central florida..find orlando, head east until you cant go anymore, that is where i am....so i am guessing about 3.5 hrs from tampa...not sure where the air port is...but i think remember hubby teling me that we are about 3.5 hrs from tampa...

anyhow just let me know if and when you get this way ok..
